OUR TOUR DE FRANCE COMEBACK
Following a year’s absence from the Tour de France, Factor Bikes could not be more excited to have returned to professional cycling’s greatest stage alongside Israel Start-Up Nation.
As their debut Tour de France, the squad are highly motivated to make their mark on one of professional cycling’s most prestigious stages. Led by experienced General Classification rider and 2 x Tour de France stage winner, Dan Martin, alongside fellow Tour de France veteran and 11 x stage winner, André Greipel. Both riders will be backed superbly through the mountains and the flat, sprint stages by a versatile team of all-rounders, climbing specialists and puncheurs. We have every confidence they won’t go down without a fight and look forward to seeing them battling for Yellow and stage wins.
The team are contesting the Grand Tour with a variety of equipment to meet the needs of different stages along its course. Due to the harsh number of challenging mountainous stages, the Factor O2 VAM will, without doubt, be the popular favourite most days.
As our lightest road bike, the O2 VAM excels when the road rises up and just as capably descends with authority. We’re confident that the O2 VAM will give the riders of Israel Start-Up Nation every advantage possible when venturing into the daring mountains that will ultimately shape the Tour de France and its final standings. To see the O2 VAM right in the mix, up an iconic Tour de France climb will be a moment well worth waiting for.
When not valiantly battling up epic French mountain passes, Israel Start-Up Nation will make the switch to the Factor ONE – our sprinters treasure that takes aerodynamics to greater heights. We look forward to seeing the ONE shine, going head to head in Tour de France sprint finishes, led by sprint sensation André Greipel.
Lastly, lies the sole penultimate Individual Time Trial that finishes up La Planche des Belles Filles. This unique, potentially game-changing stage presents an opportunity for Israel Start-Up Nation to hop on board the Factor SLiCK to round out their tour on a hopeful high.
