To celebrate and soak up the atmosphere surrounding the UCI 2026 Gravel World Championships Nannup, Factor has planned a dynamic selection of events in Nannup and the surrounding Blackwood Valley. From Thursday, 8 October, through Sunday, 11 October, we will be present at multiple locations around the region. We’re excited to have this chance to connect with our Down Under community, while cheering on our Factor Racing athletes who will be competing to pull on the storied rainbow jersey at the end of the days’ hard racing.

FACTOR HOUSE in Nannup

In its latest incarnation, FACTOR HOUSE will be taking residence at the Nannup Brewing Company starting on Thursday afternoon. This will be Factor HQ for the long weekend, where visitors can get to know the Factor team, including the members of Factor Racing who will be on hand to compete at Worlds. We’ll have some of our newest bikes on display and special Factor merchandise to mark the occasion.

On Friday morning, Factor’s pro athletes will take part in a shakeout ride ahead of the big weekend. The ride starts at 8:00 a.m. at the official Start/Finish line in Nannup and will finish at the FACTOR HOUSE, after which coffee and pastries will be provided. Join the crew for one of the highlights of the weekend’s events.

Our Factor Racing athletes in Nannup

In its first season, Factor Racing has proved a successful structure for our athletes racing some of the most important gravel events on the calendar. From the first, we said that this is not a gravel team racing for each other, rather a group of athletes who all share the same independent spirit, who value the opportunity to race their chosen races on their own terms.

The clearest manifestation of this is that Wendy Oosterwoud and Nicole Frain have been tugging and pulling at the overall lead of the UCI Gravel World Series throughout the 2026 season. And though Nicole amassed four World Series victories, at Turnhout, 114 Gravel Race, Wörthersee and Hlinsko, it was Wendy’s astounding consistency with repeated podiums and high finishes across the World Series accumulated enough points for her to secure the overall series title.

That same independent approach has delivered results across the team. Petr Vakoč was a consistent presence at the front of the men’s World Series, winning the Hegau Gravel Festival and adding podiums at Gravel Adventure Poland, Eislek Gravel, Hlinsko and Pyrénées Catalanes. Jonas Lindberg added two World Series victories of his own, at 3RIDES Gravel Winterberg and Gravel Tour Hlinsko, while Magnus Bak closed out the series in style with victory at Gravel Grit ’n Grind in Sweden, alongside a season packed with top-ten finishes across gravel and road.

Factor Racing’s ambitions have never been confined to one series or even one discipline. Haley Hunter’s second place overall at the Absa Cape Epic, racing alongside Hayley Preen, was an early-season reminder of the breadth of this group, while Nicole’s victory at RADL GRVL and Magnus’s performances at races including The Traka and Sea Otter further underline the freedom our athletes have to build seasons around the events that inspire them.

The results are significant, but perhaps more important is how they have been achieved. Six riders, very different race programmes and individual ambitions, united by the same desire to race at the highest level without sacrificing the independence that brought them to gravel in the first place. In its first season, Factor Racing has shown that giving great athletes the freedom to choose their own path can be a powerful way to succeed.
