Racing and competition is in our DNA and working alongside these athletes provides the perfect platform to continuously progress together, innovate and prove our bikes out on the race circuit.
2021 TEAMS
PARKHOTEL VALKENBURG CYCLING TEAM
We are proud to continue our partnership with leading women’s professional cycling team, Parkhotel Valkenburg. Following several highly successful seasons and countless trips to the podium, the team will look to continue their rise to the top through 2021, with a reinforced focus on the development of their young, yet fiercely talented team of riders.
Team Manager Raymond Rol shared, “This year, we have a young team with a lot of talent, so the main focus will be on development and learning to work together as a team. Hopefully, the ambitious team will lead to some surprises and results will follow.”
The 14 strong Dutch-prominent squad recently returned to the races in full swing for Opening Weekend’s Omloop het Nieuwsblad and have a busy early season of racing planned; from World Tour events, to top UCI ranked races throughout Europe. They will then take some time to reset on a training camp in Italy to prepare for some big summer targets.
“We will be competing in a lot of events this year so that our riders can work on their shape and experience racing at different levels. In the Worldtour races we want to show our team colours at the pointy end, and in races that end in a sprint, our goal is to finish in the top 5. In the 1.2 and 1.1 UCI level races, we will be competing for the podium. We have won a lot in recent years, but this year we want to broaden our strengths, as well as going for the win in races. We will always go for the best result possible, which means sometimes winning, but also learning to lose.
In the hillier races, Nina Buisman will be pushed forward and in the races that end in a sprint, Amber van der Hulst will be the team weapon.
After an intense spring block, we plan to recharge the batteries in a relaxed atmosphere in Italy. There, we will have a training camp where we can work on the team spirit to prepare for a successful second part of the season,” said Raymond.

TEAM BRYTON ICEFIELD
A new team for 2021, Team Bryton Icefield was founded by Bryton Inc. in March. They hope to become a successful professional cycling team and cultivate domestic talents. Their ambitious 2021 race season is already underway on board the Factor OSTRO VAM.
Based in Taiwan, the team consists of the best riders in the nation. Including Lu Shao Hsuan, the nation champion, and Wu Chih Hao, one of the best and experienced climbers in Taiwan. The team is racing with four riders now but still looking for young talents.

TEAM UKYO
This season we continue our partnership with the Japanese UCI Continental cycling Team UKYO. The 11 man squad includes an international roster of Japanese, Australian and one Dutch rider – sprint specialist, Raymond Kreder. Following a challenging 2020 season with seldom opportunity to race, they will be storming into the 2021 races with big ambitions.
In a normal year, the team predominately race domestically in Japan and Asia-wide. Key target goals this season for the team are to win the General Classification at the Tour of Japan, the Tour de Kumano and Oita Urban, to make the podium at the Japan Cup and to place in the top three of the overall team ranking on the Asia UCI Tour. The team will be primarily supporting Australian’s Benjamin Dyball and Marcus Culley in hillier stage races, and Raymond Kreder in sprint-favoured road races and criteriums.
They’ll kick start their season at the Japan Cycle league, followed by the Utsunomiya road race and criterium.
Here’s hoping they’ll be back to business as usual, dominating the race scene throughout Asia this season. Watch out for the team on the Factor O2 VAM, ONE and SLiCK at their upcoming races.
Team Sports Director, Keita Onishi commented on the O2 VAM, “It’s a bike that handles very well and the clear coat over carbon is a great look. First of all, it’s simply fast. And it’s capable of stable braking with the disc brakes in all weather conditions. I think this is very important. In addition, there is straight-line stability, especially on flatter roads, and the weight is nice and light, ensuring a fast ride on the climbs and descents.”

BURGOS ALIMENTA
The women of Burgos Alimenta professional cycling team are all-smiles having recently kicked off their season in Belgium, following a pre-season training camp in sunny Alicante. The Spanish based squad is comprised of riders from all sides of the globe, and this year, they’re returning to the races on their Factor Bikes with a fresh, revamped look for 2021.

DISCOVER THE O2
INSTAFUND LA PRIMA RACING
InstaFund La Prima Racing have great ambitions and a whole new calendar of challenges on the radar for the 2021 season. They made a big return to racing at the GP Velo Alanya and the GP Velo Manavgat in Turkey in early February, before venturing on to Europe where they are now busily preparing in Girona for their first European race block, initially through Belgium and France.
The aspiring Canadian UCI continental team endured a mixed 2020 with little racing that has only further fuelled their burning desire to compete abroad against the world’s best. The bolstered for 2021 nine rider team consists of six returning riders, with the addition of accomplished Israeli rider, Rotem Gafinovitz, the UK’s Harriet Owen and Caroline Bauer from Switzerland.
Team member, Isabella Bertold shared, “Rotem, Caroline, and Harriet have very different strengths and round out the team. We now have racers that can excel on every terrain. They also have experience racing in Europe, which will further add to both Gill and Gabby’s experience on European roads.”
We are excited to continue our partnership with InstaFund La Prima Racing this season and look forward to seeing what damage they can do in their European debut. Following an off-season of winter training and many-a mile logged in cruel conditions, we have a feeling the rough European roads will suit them just fine.
The team will continue to race on the rounded Factor O2, suited to their varying race program.
“A long European season means the bikes need to be versatile, suited to cobbles, long climbs, and hectic cross-winds. That is the Factor O2 disc. It does everything well, and the riders are very confident on the frames,” shared Isabella.

TEAM COOP
Team Coop is a Norwegian UCI Continental team based in Sandnes, Norway. The team was established in 2004 and is currently owned by Njål Østerhus, Erik Johan Sæbø and professional World Tour rider, Alexander Kristoff.
The ten-rider team is made up of a selection of young and versatile riders predominately from Norway, with one rider, Jacob Eriksson from Sweden and one rider, Louis Bendixen from Denmark.
The team has had great success since their establishment, claiming the time trial and road race at the Norwegian championships, and the U23 road World Championship title with Sven Erik Bystrøm, who has now transitioned to professional level. In 2019 they had a stellar season, claiming six UCI victories, but like most, endured a mixed 2020 due to limited race opportunity. This season, they are returning to the race scene this season with big aspirations, all on board the Factor OSTRO.

TAG CYCLING RACING TEAM
Tag Cycling Racing Team is a Canadian National Trade Team focussed on developing stars of the future, supported by Tag Cycling – a coaching company driven by Olympians.
The team’s goal is to develop young riders by providing key race experiences through North America and Europe and a supportive, stable environment that will help nurture them to make the challenging move from junior to elite and professional racing.
Last year, the team rode their first season on the Factor O2 & ONE and will continue through the 2021 season.

Team RYTGER powered by Cykeltøj-Online.dk is a Danish women’s cycling team based in Copenhagen. Since 2017, the team has continued to strongly focus on the development of the next generation of riders in Denmark and Scandinavia, from Junior to the U17 and U19 categories. The team have been regularly training together through the winter months on their home roads in Copenhagen, primed and ready to hit the ground running come their first races of the 2021 season on their Factor O2 bikes.

TEAM O.B WIIK-DAN STILLADS
Team O.B Wiik-Dan Stillads is a Danish Cycle Union team that primarily race in Denmark and through Scandinavia, focussed on developing riders to Senior and Continental level. They have been riding on the Factor O2 since 2020, and this year will be looking to put them to the test at National events and beyond.
The young team has great potential and we are excited to see what they can achieve back at the races soon. This season, they’ll be participating in a number of UCI events, targeting top ten performances. Their biggest goal is to perform well at the U23 National Championships in June.
