FOR THE LOVE OF CYCLING FACTOR STRAVA CLUB DECEMBER CHALLENGE

This December Factor CEO, Rob Gitelis, Sales Director – also 4x Taiwan KOM champion, John Ebsen, and former professional cyclist, Phil Gaimon, will be each setting out to ride a cumulative distance of 3,100km within the month. That’s 100km for every day of the month if you’re dividing the kilometres equally. The good news is – they’re inviting you to come along for the ride!

This challenge is all about encouraging fellow cyclists to get out on the bike and simply ride for the love of it. To re-find your love and passion for cycling after a challenging few years. As a bike brand, Factor has faced its fair share of setbacks as a result of the pandemic; from lockdowns, to supply chain and shipping delays, the company has dealt with a lot, as has the wide majority of the bike industry. Consequently, many of us have at times been all-consumed by our work, forgetting to enjoy quality time on the bike. We are taking part in this challenge to get back to our routes and remember why we love this sport and the cycling industry.

If you can relate or you’ve simply had an intense 2021 without making time for yourself and your bike, then why not join Rob, John, and Phil this December? They will be taking part in the challenge while continuing to do what they do best at their day jobs, and making that extra effort to squeeze in bike riding. Test yourself, end your year on a high, and discover the joys of cycling once more.

Bonus! Anyone who joins the Factor Strava Club will be automatically entered into a draw to WIN a Factor frameset, and all participants who complete the challenge will receive a special Factor gift!

On top of that, we will be supporting Phil Gaimon’s number one charity of choice, ‘Chefs Cycle for No Kid Hungry’ by donating $1 USD for every 10km ridden by the top 100 members of the Factor Strava Club throughout December.

*No Kid Hungry was established with the ambition of ending childhood hunger in the U.S. Find out more.

What do you need to do to participate? Simply sign-up to the Factor Strava Club and as soon as December gets underway, start logging your kilometres. All we ask is that when taking part in the challenge, you remember to enjoy the ride!
