MONZA

Real World Fast

Race Sunday, Train Monday

Not all racers are pros. Across the world, passionate competitors balance family, careers, and life’s responsibilities while still pushing themselves to their limits on the bike. Their "World Championships" happen at local crits, club races, fast group rides, and solo breakaways at dawn. They commute to work, train in the dark, race on weekends, and push for personal bests whenever they ride. The MONZA is built for those who want to win on Sunday and train on Monday. It’s a true high-performance race bike that balances speed, efficiency, and real-world usability, without unnecessary complexity. The Factor MONZA is not a step down—it’s a step in the right direction.

Utility driven; performance oriented

The MONZA carries this racing pedigree forward in a refined, streamlined package. This is not an entry-level bike, it’s a purebred race machine, tuned for those who train, race, and push their limits day-in and day-out. Instead of chasing marginal gains at the expense of real-world usability, the Factor MONZA delivers true race performance in an optimised, practical package. Designed to accommodate the needs of the cyclists who work hard and play hard, high performance non-negotiables like WorldTour level handling, aerodynamics, and stiffness levels live side-by-side with practical features like integrated lighting solutions and in-frame storage. The geometry has been adapted to the bike’s all-around use scenarios, offering a democratic fit, which includes a slightly higher stack height to help open up hip angles.

Future-Proofed Design

Supporting wider tubeless tyres, clean cable integration, UDH compatibility, and an adaptable fit to ensure long-term performance, the MONZA focuses on the needs of the dedicated amateur racer. It fills the utility gaps left by the bikes intended to be raced at the WorldTour level. Recognizing that most committed amateurs will be riding their bikes to and from races, having up to 34 mm as measured tyre clearance allows for athletes to negotiate the frequently rougher roads found on city streets, while the ability to fit a UDH now or at a later date will simplify choices and enhances the MONZA’s overall longevity.

Rider-First Engineering

Smart, integrated solutions for lights, radar, and storage, means the MONZA is designed for racers who train early, ride long, and race hard. In-frame storage in the down tube eliminates the need for a saddle bag, ensuring the MONZA retains its clean, aero line without compromising an athlete’s need to be self-sufficient. The HB04 Black Inc Barstem offers the aero advantages of a one-piece barstem while enhancing the versatility of the set-up with a shape that can accommodate all hand sizes and the super durable Black Inc Computer/Go Pro mount. Included are design features intended to ensure easy build-up and maintenance such as the round steerer tube with 1.5-inch upper and lower bearings, a standard T47 bottom bracket, and seatpost battery space.

Built for the Competitor in Everyone

The Factor MONZA embodies the essence of the OSTRO VAM but refines the formula to reach more racers. It delivers race-winning performance without excessive complexity. Every refinement serves a purpose: maintaining speed, stiffness, and handling, while optimizing materials and components for a streamlined, practical approach.

In-frame storage

With the ability to fit two tubes, two CO2 cartridges, and a patch kit, the MONZA’s in-frame storage eliminates the need for a saddle bag which will save up to six watts of drag. On-the-bike self-sufficiency no longer needs to come at the expense of aerodynamics or sleek appearance.

Black Inc Wheels

Designed to complement the MONZA and its remit to be the fastest, most durable racing and training bike, the Black Inc FORTY FIVE wheels are fast, versatile, and robust. Intelligently detailed with steel spokes, easily serviceable bearings, a durable freehub body, and a modern tyre bed profile, these wheels are ready for tough races and tougher rides.

34 mm tyre clearance

Recognizing the need to be adaptable to all sorts of road surfaces and modern wheel designs, the MONZA can fit up to 34 mm tyres, enhancing comfort and reducing the chance of punctures. Ideal for athletes who race, train, and commute all on the same bike in all types of weather conditions and every sort of road surface.

Making the MONZA UDH compatible allows it to accommodate the increasing demand for road-oriented 1x groupsets.

The clean look and easy access of the seatpost mounted battery reduces maintenance headaches and costs.

Using a round steerer tube with 1.5-inch upper and lower bearings simplifies the cable routing process while facilitating headset maintenance.

Allows easy lubrication and cleaning, reducing the risk of corrosion-related issues.
