Even in a golden age of bicycle design, where everyone is trying to find ways to be faster, versatile, more aero, Factor engineers and designers have succeeded in developing bikes that truly stand out, that actively improve the rider’s chances of winning a race. With the ONE, OSTRO VAM, and MONZA, the Factor road line-up offers the perfect bike for every occasion, from mountain peaks to wild cobbles.

Three road bikes, three distinct jobs.

Factor ONE: best for pure aero racing, sprints, and flat-to-rolling stages. The most aerodynamic bike in the range, built around an aggressive modern race position and a design pushed to the limit of the UCI rulebook.

OSTRO VAM: best for all-round racing and climbing. The do-everything option: light enough to climb with the best, aero enough to be independently rated the fastest bike in the pro peloton, and named Cyclingnews' best overall road bike in 2026.

MONZA: best for cobbles, training, and real-world versatility. The durable, practical racer that pairs WorldTour speed with in-frame storage, mounting options for lights, and the compliance to race Paris-Roubaix.

The ONE: Advanced aerodynamics and modern geometry

In development for two years, taking inspiration from what we’ve learned when developing our track bikes, and pushing the design to the very limit of what’s allowed in the UCI rulebook, the Factor ONE has redefined what a modern road racing bike can do. From its first race day in prototype form, it spectacularly won a sprint stage at the 2025 Dauphiné. It was the first evidence that the designers had accomplished something not only revolutionary-looking, but revolutionary-performing. Jake Stewart’s victory ahead of sprinting royalty like Jonathan Milan and Mathieu van der Poel proved the ONE had that X-Factor to push infrequent winners into the victory circle.

In 2026, the ONE has been seen at the front of races as varied as Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne, where Modern Adventure’s Cole Kessler rode it while powering the day’s main break, to teammate Ben Oliver sprinting it to a streak of top-10s in races as varied as Ruta Del Sol and the Tour of Hungary.

The ONE has proved to be a favourite choice among the Modern Adventure and Human Powered Health riders because it not only offers an aero advantage over every other bike in the peloton, but its geometry helps settle the athletes into an aggressively aero position without forcing them to compromise handling or control.

“Factor Bikes are known for building fast, unconventional machines. With the ONE, they’ve taken performance optimisation to another level. Rarely have we seen a road bike so radical and so single-mindedly honed for aerodynamics. Parked next to the ONE, even the most advanced aero race bikes suddenly look like restrained all-rounders.” – Calvin Zajac, Gran Fondo Magazine

Even if the aerodynamics behind the design was always a driving factor in the development of the ONE, the way WorldTour events unfold today is vastly different from how the races were raced even just five years ago. Speeds are high, race-winning attacks happen much further from the finish line, and rider positions on the bikes have continued to evolve and get more extreme in the search for every possible aero advantage. Rider fit has evolved to the point where typical road frame geometry was not addressing the fit demands of the modern rider. That is something that the ONE’s design directly addresses.

“I would say at this point that this is the best bike I have ever made, and I believe, the best bike that has been made in the road industry to date. And the reason for that is the uncompromising clarity of vision. No one in the entire company ever questioned that clarity of purpose, which is to help riders win races.”– Graham Shrive, Chief Engineer at Factor Bikes

OSTRO VAM: the best all-around road bike in the world

For several years now, the OSTRO VAM has been the guiding light of the Factor road range, the stalwart option that is light enough to climb with the best, and aero enough to be named in 2024, the fastest bike in the pro peloton in third-party testing. More recently, in May of 2026, the OSTRO VAM was named the best overall road bike by cyclingnews.com thanks to its optimum aero performance, low weight, and superb handling.

Raced at the WorldTour level in both the men’s and women’s events, the OSTRO VAM has an extensive palmarès. It has been ridden to victory at the Tour de France in stages as varied as the Lille to Wallers-Arenberg cobbled stage 5 in 2022 to the 2023 climb to the Puy de Dôme on stage 9. And every route type and condition in between.

Maggie Coles Lyster - OSTRO VAM

“The Factor OSTRO VAM boasts aerodynamic properties that outperform dedicated aero bikes, a weight that mixes it with the lightest aero all-rounders, and handling characteristics that are direct and purposeful without being twitchy. It's quite simply one of the best race bikes in the world right now.” – Josh Croxton, cyclingnews.com

The OSTRO VAM has offered outstanding performance for a number of seasons thanks to the fact that we own the whole design, development, and manufacturing process. From conception to assembly, we have the experts and facilities to ensure the OSTRO VAM offers the stiffness, aerodynamics, and low weight to keep it leading the pack.

“The defining characteristic of the OSTRO VAM is how naturally it carries speed without ever compromising control. Aerodynamically, it’s exceptionally efficient, but what impressed me most is the handling balance. Often with high-performance aero bikes, you gain outright speed at the expense of predictability or rider confidence,” said David Millar, Factor Chief Brand Officer.

“What Factor achieved with the OSTRO VAM is a race bike that feels efficient in every situation. It accelerates sharply, holds momentum effortlessly, and remains stable when the racing becomes chaotic. For professional riders, that handling consistency matters just as much as aerodynamic performance because confidence allows you to conserve energy, position better, and ultimately, race faster.”

MONZA: stability + speed for racing and training

When Factor’s engineers were in the process of designing the MONZA, they wanted to have a high performance bike that also offered a level of practicality and durability that would make it work at multiple levels. The launch tagline “Race Sunday, Train Monday” reflected its core purpose to be a racing bike that answers the needs of the committed cyclist who wants a bike that is as fast as it is functional.

Balancing speed, efficiency, and real-world usability, means that the MONZA provides the same racing pedigree that sets the ONE and OSTRO VAM apart, including WorldTour-level handling and stiffness as well as best-in-class aerodynamics. Mixing those non-negotiables with practical features like in-frame storage, sleek mounting options for lights, and a slightly tweaked geometry that offers a more democratic fit, enhances the usability of the MONZA to go beyond just race day performance, but rather accommodates everything from training ride commutes to late evening power sessions.

What sets the MONZA apart even more from its siblings is its intentional durability, which has been achieved through a deliberate and strategic use of carbon type and carbon layup. The MONZA’s general durability when contrasted with the ultra-light, optimised layups of the ONE and the OSTRO VAM give it an innate “toughness.” While the stiffness profiles on the bikes are largely similar, the frame masses and volumes are different. To spare every gram from the super light OSTRO VAM while normalising the stiffness requires a small number of extremely stiff high modulus fibres to be used, whereas on the MONZA a greater quantity of lower modulus, less stiff and more ductile fibres are used.

“From the expensive ride feel, to the luxury aesthetic to the almost hidden user friendliness, which is beautifully accomplished, the MONZA blends prestige and practicality like no other bike does at the moment.” – Simon Smythe, Rouleur Magazine

It’s thanks to all these attributes that made the MONZA the blanket choice for Modern Adventure Pro Cycling and Human Powered Health when racing Paris-Roubaix and some of the other severe cobbled semi-classics in the 2026 spring season.

“At Human Powered Health, we always make the effort to get the best materials possible for our riders in every race. When we were given the option by Factor to use the MONZA, it was clear for our riders when doing the recons, that the MONZA was the fastest bike across the cobbles,” said Magnus Backstedt, directeur sportif for Human Powered Health.

“Having some experience with the cobbles of Roubaix myself, I can confirm that the compliance of the MONZA in the right areas combined with its stiffness and aerodynamics give even me a completely new experience of what the cobbles of Roubaix feel like. I finished the team recon with a smile on my face. I know it’s not a new thing for me to be smiling when riding these roads, but this was just different since my body wasn’t as beaten up as it has been in the past after a recon ride.”
