MONZA RCC + David Carson Edition
Celebrating 10 years of Rapha Cycling Club
Innovators. Disruptors of the norm. Anti-complacency. Never Status Quo. All these attributes define Factor, Rapha, and graphic designer David Carson, who've come together to celebrate 10 years of the Rapha Cycling Club with a special edition collection. The Rapha Cycling Club is the world’s most connected network of cyclists. United by a love for riding and the sport of cycling, it’s a place to belong, suffer and transform — together.
To celebrate this milestone, we are offering to RCC members a special MONZA RCC Edition, made to order, to complement Rapha’s capsule collection that exemplifies David Carson’s signature visual language. Long a disrupter of graphic design, David Carson applies his trademark collage-like style to the Rapha kit and MONZA graphic.
Love the bike, but not yet a RCC member?
You can join here and have access to this capsule and tons more from the world’s most connected network of cyclists.
MONZA and the global community
Choosing to use the MONZA in this endeavor was no accident. The clear-eyed development process and design of the MONZA has always eschewed doing anything just because it is what everyone else is doing. Instead, it represents a pure racing bike with a difference. The MONZA is designed for committed, ambitious cyclists who ride daily and find joy in testing themselves. This makes it the ideal match for the RCC’s global community.

RCC inspiration
Rapha has a deep history of partnering with renowned artists and introducing disruptive elements to the usually staid world of road cycling. This latest collaboration with David Carson, who has had a seminal influence on graphic and visual design, continues to push the boundaries of creativity. Applying David Carson’s design to the Factor MONZA completes the picture and makes this the ultimate RCC capsule collection.

David Carson graphic design
David Carson is a pioneering American graphic designer/artist known for his nonconformist approach. An innovator in typography and layout, his influence on the art and design world is indelible. Originally a pro surfer, Carson found his way into graphic design by chance. Gaining notoriety as art director of music magazine Ray Gun, he rose to fame with his experimental style. Abstaining from traditional grid-based design, he works on intuition and expression and has reshaped the boundaries of visual culture.
Carson’s work has earned numerous awards and is widely exhibited, continuing to inspire through lectures, books and creative projects such as this collaboration with the RCC and Factor.
